JMDM-COM40MR/MT is a kind of industrial controller with high stability, reliability and Strong ability of anti- electromagnetic interference. It was designed and developed independently by ShenZhen City JingMin Digital Machine Co., LTD which can control 40-channel digital signals output by a RS232 serial port. It has two output type:relay or transistor. It works in two modes: a. real-time mode: The computer sends control commands (either ASCII or string) to the controller so as to control the output of the relays; B. program mode: computer programs is downloaded to the controller by a RS232 port, then the controller saves the program, and works according to the logic of procedure and time. It has the following main feature:
1.1 Industrial grade 40-channel relay (transistor) output controller, may realize the serial connection control of 40 channels lighting control or switches of power.
1.2 Can control the load independently or through the computer RS232 serial port and upper computer software;
1.3 supports multiple cascading close controls in RS232 communication mode.
1.4 supports multiple controllers control remotely in RS485 network;
1.5 support the upper computer to monitor over more than 40*N channels outputs network in real-time;
1.6 Using a PC as upper computer, you can realize easily by a RS232 serial port to control and monitor the state of multi-channel lighting, power, audio or video switches, access switches, solenoid valves, cylinders and other digital signals in real-time.

2.1 Working Power:
JMDM-COM40MR: AC 9V/18V or dc 12V/24V;
JMDM-COM40MT: AC 9V/18V or dc 12V/24V;
2.3 The main control chip: 8-bit microcontroller and high-speed\high-performance FPGA programmable array circuit with high stability;
2.4 The program and data memory: 32K program memory for storing data. 30 K data memory can also be used to store data; The data in memory is not lost when the controller meets unexpected power off;
2.5 Output:
JMDM-COM40MR: 40-channel photoelectric isolating relay output: the output load voltage range is 0 ~ 220V; maximum output load current is 5A; output status can be read back;
JMDM-COM40MT: 40 photoelectric isolating transistor output:Output in open-collector type; maximum output voltage is DC24V or 12V; maximum output current is 4A; output status can be read back.
2.6 System stability:
Photoelectric isolation, internal watchdog circuit and rigorous high-frequency filtering out features make the system stable and reliable. Auto start time is within 1ms when crashes;
2.7 Interface:
1 channel standard RS232 serial communication interface (resists 15KV static shock); directly communicate with computer and other peripherals or text display; Can download the program directly through the RS232 interface; Without IC WRITER(programmer), to facilitate changes in procedures to modification and upgrade ;
2.8 Working status light:
1 LED lamp. Generally used for display the running status of the controller;
2.9 Cover installation dimension:

3. Application
3.1 Used for a variety of distributed control systems;
3.2 used in all kinds of remote control systems;
3.3 Used for lighting control in building, advertising ,etc., large and medium plant control projects in automation workshop or power plant control;
3.4 Used as a remote I/O module to control electromagnetic valves, cylinder, alarm light, traffic light, power switches,.etc.

4. Functional description
4.1 JMDM-COM40MR/MT RS232 serial controller can be used to control relays (or transistors) on and off.
4.2 When upper computer (PC or master PLC) connects to the controller via serial port, and sends a string of ASCII code commands or character string to control one (or all) of the relays on or off, you don't need completely to consider the select and drive hardware circuit of relays.
For example, when you send "O(00,002, 1)" in the window of popular serial debugging assistant software by a serial port to the controller, this command can realize to open the second channel relay of the controller with the address of 00.
When you send the command "O(01,012, 0)" by a RS232 serial port, then the No.12 channel relay of the controller adresses 01 will be off.
4.3 The distance between the upper computer and the serial controller can be extended by RS485; maximum distance can reach to 1 kilometre.
4.4 A serial port controller can independently control 40 channels relay (or transistor) ON and OFF. By address coding,when the delay of one second is permitted, a serial port can address and control 100 serial port controller to form a large-scale control systems with 4000 channels output.
4.5 Provides freely open interface,serial communication protocol and VB communication source code. Present as a gift the free example executable program writed in VB language, and also can help the customers to develop the customerized programs.
4.6 The controller has four toggle switches which can be set address of the controller from 00 to 15. The toggle swithes can also be set the function in programs, the address of controller can be set in a serial string (also means in software).
4.7 The controller has the system clock, so you can control automatically the relay ON or OFF at any time.
4.8 The relay controller is equipped with industrial grade shell with the elegant feature and easy to install.
